Nicola started playing cello at seven and by the age of eleven had achieved Grade 8 Distinction. During her teens she played in both County and National Youth Orchestras and twice won her local Musical Eisteddfods. In recent years she has done numerous session work for a variety of classical, folk, jazz and pop bands, performed solo and played in various orchestras and string quartets and trios and as a solo artist Nicola has also traveled extensively.
