Nicola Farnon Songwriting Workshop
As a professional Singer / Songwriter, musician with a 30 year career in the music business I also want to spread the love for one of my greatest passions – writing songs!
With a fundamental emphasis on a relaxed and non-judgemental environment that seeks to welcome an eclectic mix of genres, my workshop sessions explore: -
• finding your own unique writing voice
• learning new techniques for those days when inspiration isn’t knocking down your door
• Confidence building alongside self belief issues
• Writing with others – the delicate art of co-writing
• Sharing ideas, songs and new techniques
• Enjoying time together immersing ourselves in this important craft
Who is it for?
These sessions are for ages 14 and over with an interest in
writing songs, from complete beginners to seasoned lyrical masters. They include a range of exercises and activities available that can be adapted to your level of skill and experience
Any other information
• Please bring all the tools you use for writing your own songs. For many
this is notebook and pen but please bring your laptop if you prefer
• Please bring an instrument if you have one, however if you’d prefer not
to or are unable to that’s fine too! I will bring an acoustic guitar and my
double bass
